Ringive Sogn ligger i N\u00f8rvang Herred, Vejle Amt og er et sogn i Grene Provsti (Ribe Stift). I 1800-tallet var Give Sogn anneks til Ringive Sogn. Begge sogne h\u00f8rte til N\u00f8rvang Herred i Vejle Amt. Trods annekteringen udgjorde de hver sin sognekommune.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ringive Kirke<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Ringive Kirke blev opf\u00f8rt af sognefolkene i Valdemarstiden, i 11-1200-tallet. F\u00f8r kirken blev bygget, l\u00e5 der p\u00e5 stedet en tr\u00e6kirke, som der dog intet er tilbage af. Kirken ligger placeret op ad oldtidsh\u00f8jen Kong Rings H\u00f8j fra 900-tallet, i daglig tale: Ringh\u00f8jen, som ligger ved indk\u00f8rslen ned mod pr\u00e6steg\u00e5rden. Kirken er bygget i romansk stil, og materialerne er tydeligvis de forh\u00e5ndenv\u00e6rende, nemlig fr\u00e5dsten, marksten og st\u00f8rre r\u00e5 granitblokke. Kirkerummet b\u00e6rer pr\u00e6g af at v\u00e6re et traditionelt, fattigt hedesogn. Det er simpelt, n\u00f8jsomt, ydmygt og enkelt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
